In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by amazing Kristi @ The Story Siren.
Since I don't do this meme last week, this edition is a wrap up for two weeks. My mid-term is getting closer (horror!), so I'm determined to limit my books until mid April. Finger crossed I'll still be able to finish at least two books a week! :)
Love the premise. Seems like perfect very-very-early summer reading! Many thanks to JKS Communication!
Krista contacted me and I've never read any book about selkie, so I think I have to try this out! Can't resist the idea of forbidden love! Watch out for review + GIVEAWAY next month! :)
The cover is super cool! I'm still fairly new in steampunk genre so I'm really excited to read this book! Many thanks to Flux!
I've been wanting this book since the moment I saw it on my Goodreads recommendation. The idea of this book reminds me of Thirteen Reasons Why (which is amazing!).
It has been such a long time since I read novel in verse. The story is very simple yet sad. I finished this book yesterday, and it only took me about two hours to finish it! Review will be posted tomorrow. :)
I read so many Contemporary titles lately... now I'm in desperate need for Dystopian fix. So many good review on this book, hopefully I'm going to like this book too!
Ice by Sarah Beth Durst

Wow, so many great looking books! I love the cover of Ice. I will have to check that one out. I hope you enjoy The Other Life, Hilda. I really loved that book! It was a slower paced dystopian but I enjoyed it all the same. :) And yay for Innocent Darkness! i got that one too and love the sound of it. I need a good steampunk to keep me going. ;) Enjoy your lovely new reads!

Vivian's IMM
Thanks, Vivian! <3 I hope I'm going to love all these books too! I LOVE the polar bear, the polar bear and the girl makes such a fairytale-like cover, so perfect for the story! Happy reading for you too, Vivian! :)
DeleteOoh, nice IMM this week, Hilda! I've seen The Summer My Life Began and I think it's gotten good reviews. The ones I know I want to read from here are The Lure of Shapinsay (I've seen it but disliked the summary at first. Now I'm seeing it in a different light!), The Other Life (Dystopian titles! Yes, please!), and Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler. Did you know that Daniel Handler's the writer of A Series of Unfortunate Events? The summary of WWBU doesn't draw me in but I want to see if his writing style has changed at all...
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll enjoy all your books, Hilda. Thanks for dropping by my IMM! Good luck with your studies too! :)
- Käthe @ Good Lit and Green Tea
