In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by amazing Kristi @ The Story Siren.
Last week, I told you guys that I won't add too much books on my Review shelf since my midterm is near. Now, it's practically banging on my door, screaming to me to start studying, and haunting me when I'm sleeping. No, I'm not being melodramatic. Well, okay... a little.
Let's take a look on books I received this week!
Many thanks to Harper Collins. Stargirl is a great book, and I love story about twin! :)
I've never read any YA book about changeling. Plus, the cover is really pretty!
Wanderlove is brilliant, so I have to read Kirsten Hubbard's debut! Hopefully it will be just as awesome!
I've been waiting so long to read this book! This seems like a great suspense read!
I received this as a gift from an Aussie friend. Yay! I can't wait to see what happens to Violet. Hopefully she has more fun in this book (and less grumpy)! :)
I can't wait to dive in and start reading the books! They all look like awesome read! Enticed's Aussie cover is really enticing, I love the model in the cover! And it has been so long since I read MG titles, so hopefully Jake and Lily would be a fun read! :)
Happy reading and have a wonderful week! I hope everyone has great books in their mailbox!
Your mailboxes are always super cute, Hilda! Dead to You sounds so interesting and Jake & Lily looks adorbs. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThey all look so awesome. And Switched looks soooo good! Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun reading these books! I always wanted to read switched, will read it sometime.

YAY. Switched is on my IMM (this week's) as well :D I enjoyed reading it! Hopefully, you do too!! And heheh, my end-semesters are almost here and I'm freaking out and... trying to study and not posting as frequently. Still cannot resist a good book, as much as I try! Cutting down on reading during exams is just not happening for me :P
ReplyDeleteThe other books look really fun and fresh too! Have a great week, Hilda! And all the best for your midterm :)
Great mailbox Hilda. I actually won a copy of Switched weeks ago but I haven't received it yet. I hope you enjoy all your books :)
ReplyDeleteOOO you got some goodies! I so want to read Switched and Dead to You! Everyone says such great things about Amanda. I hope you enjoy them!

SWITCHED! Oh my gosh, Hilda, I can't wait until you read that book -- it's such a sweet, fun, and awesome take on changelings. But it's when you get to Torn that you'll absolutely fall in love with the series and be dying for Ascend with me! x) Those covers are some of my favourites too! :) And I had no idea that Kirsten Hubbard had another book out before Wanderlove -- I might have to check that one out soon too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing mailbox this week, Hilda! LOL I hope that studying for midterms goes really well for you, although that might be hard with all of your beautiful-looking books! ;) <3
Switched looks so good! I love the cover, and I'm waiting to get my hands on that book. I've heard endless good things about Dead to You, so I'm looking forward to what you think about it! Enjoy all those books. =)

Awesome haul, Hilda! Gosh, those exams have no consideration for your TBR pile, do they? Well at least you have plenty to look forward to after all your studying! :D
ReplyDeleteThose are some great looking books there and I can't wait to see what you make of that Amanda Hocking one. I liked it more than I thought I would! And you're right, the cover IS very pretty. They did an awesome job on it. :)
Yay for Switched! I love the Trylle Series, and can't wait to see what you think of it! The last book of the series is the best one, super ending!
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Kristin Hubbard's Wanderlove and it was so very good! I hope Like Mandarin is just as good!
Enjoy your books :)

Great haul! Dead to You sounds like an amazing book! The professional covers for Switched look amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat IMM this week, Hilda! I am loving the cover of Enticed too! I hope you love Switched as much as I did, I thought it was one of the most interesting and just plain cool books I had read in a while. It was a sort of fresh approach to YA paranormal!
ReplyDeleteDarlene @ Leather Bound and Lovely
I love your IMM this week, Hilda! Switched looks great. I've been seeing Amanda Hocking's books around a lot. Dead To You I definitely want to read; maybe even Embrace, before getting to Enticed. It's Jake and Lily I really want, though. I loved Stargirl when I was in high school, and while Jake and Lily may be a middle grade book, hey, it'll just be great to read what Spinelli has to offer this time.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your haul! ♥
You got such awesome books! Really hope to read SWITCHED soon and really need to get copies of EMBRACE and DEAD TO YOU soon. Enjoy everything! :)

Fictional Distraction
I've been waiting to read Dead to You as well. I actually just got a copy of Lisa McManns other suspense novel Cryers Cross today! I'm so excited I can't wait to start reading! Jake & Lily looks like a cute read. I haven't read Stargirl yet but its been sitting on my shelf for months! Happy Reading! =)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Switched by Amanda Hocking, but I have read her other book- Hollowland and its absolutely amazing. If you like zombies, then you should definitely check that book out. Either way, Hocking is a great author and I've heard amazing reviews about the Switched series.
ReplyDeleteKristan @ Lost Amongst the Shelves
Switched!!!! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love the Trylle series sooooooo much. I read it on eBook before it came out in paperback, but I plan to get all the books in paperback and reread them this summer. That's how much I loved them. They have great characters that you will grow to care about like real people. And they are action packed!
Hope you enjoy them!
