Cover Crazy (#3)!

Hello everyone! You're back on the third edition of Cover Crazy, an awesome meme which is hosted by The Book Worms. She is willing to share her fondness of cover design to the whole world, and how could I resist the urge to join in? :)

Here is my Cover Crazy this week:

The blurb: NEVER LET ME GO meets HIS DARK MATERIALS in a beautiful, haunting YA debut, the first book in The Hybrid Trilogy.

Eva and Addie live in a world where everyone is born with two souls, but where only the dominant one is allowed to survive childhood. Fifteen years old, and closer even than twins, the girls are keeping Eva, the ‘second soul’, a secret. They know that it’s forbidden to be hybrid, but how could they ever be apart?

When a dramatic event reveals what really happens to hybrids if they are discovered, Eva and Addie face a dangerous fight for survival, neither wanting to be the one left behind…

What I love about the cover: The palette of this cover is gorgeous! The shade of gray, blue, and pink is just awesome! I love it that this cover only show half part of her face, and just look at her haunting eyes! She has a really beautiful eyes anyway, like an emerald. This cover is perfect and I can't wait to read this book, the story sounds amazing!

What do you think about the cover? Don't forget to leave your Cover Crazy link in the comment! :)

  8. I love this cover! I was also really drawn to the cover because of the nice, soft palette used. I also agree about her eyes and their very haunting appeal. I think it is a very fitting cover that goes along well with the actual plot of the book. Too often, I find covers that have little/nothing to do with the actual storyline.

    1. AGREED, Darlene! Some books have gorgeous covers but in fact, they take no part with the story! I guess the cover artists must haven't read the book yet, or even they may didn't know what the story about! I hope the cover do this book a justice! :)

  10. This cover is beautiful. I think what I love most about it, is that if you un-focus your eyes you can see a profile face looking skyward.

Thank you so much for the visit!
